What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

As a United Methodist church, we align doctrinally with the Articles of Religion contained in the United Methodist Book of Discipline. These articles originated in the 16th century with Martin Luther and were modified and adapted in the 18th century by John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement.
We express our faith through the classic Creeds of the Christian Church, including the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed. We begin worship every Sunday by reciting the Apostles' Creed.
